Jake
I am a professional helicopter pilot, husband, and father. In my free time, I have long enjoyed painting, primarily oil on canvas, and fishing. What began as painting custom crankbaits for friends and colleagues quickly grew into a passion, with my work now reaching anglers across the country, including Puerto Rico.
Encouraged by the support I received, I established a small Idaho based business focused on custom painted fishing gear. My baits are designed for a wide range of species, from Peacock Bass to Northern Pike. Closer to home, I focused on improving success rates for Kokanee and Rainbow Trout by developing and painting my own dodgers.
Through extensive experimentation, I created a durable glow finish compatible with airbrush application and began designing original dodgers from the ground up. Working alongside my business partner Kevin, and with CAD design support from our colleague Scott, we developed and refined several prototypes. Manufacturing support from a Utah based company, allowed us to bring these designs to life with precision.
After outstanding test results, we are proud to offer our patent pending MK3, JK Chub, along with a growing line of unique fishing products.
Happy fishing,
Jake

Kevin
I am a professional helicopter pilot, husband, and father. Growing up, I spent much of my time outdoors riding dirt bikes and working on vehicles. After moving to Idaho and starting a family, I realized that if I wanted to teach my children how to hunt and fish, I needed to develop those skills myself.
I began studying regulations and learning techniques through research and online resources, including programs such as Addicted and Spilt Milt. Over time, I became confident fishing local rivers and developed success as a turkey hunter. When Jake joined me, we expanded our efforts to local lakes after acquiring a boat, which I rebuilt and modified to suit our needs.
Although I initially had limited experience with Kokanee fishing, we quickly became dedicated to understanding their behavior, environment, and feeding patterns. This led to extensive experimentation, with me focusing on building custom baits and lures while Jake developed painted dodgers.
Today, we are seeing strong results from our efforts and are excited to share our products and knowledge with others.
We look forward to sharing our success with you,
Kevin
